Last winter Korres ran a series of wonderful online specials (gwp, samples and loads of coupon codes ).
While they were running all these crazy good sales I purchased a set that contained their watermelon spf tinted moisturizer, mini silicone free face primer and their Monoli bronzer in the lightest shade(Sunglow Light). I started using the bronzer last month and it's official- I love it!
I guess you could say I am little challenged with bronzers. I have quite a few in my stash (alright, a ton of them) but I am the first to admit I don't reach for them often. I am fair to light and lean to the neutral/cool side in foundations (Mac NW20). It says a lot about a product when I reach for it day after day for five weeks!
Why it's so darn fabulous:
It looks super natural on the skin- never orange and doesn't oxidize during the day either. It stays put and doesn't fade away, doesn't make me look oily or dry. It has a little bit of shimmer but it's not really noticeable it comes off as luminescence that makes you look healthy. I have enlarged pores on my cheeks and Monoli bronzer doesn't seem to sink into my pores and make them look more noticeable. I have not had one weird breakout or incidence of reaction while wearing this bronzer.
I like to apply this with my ELF studio complexion brush or Smashbox #19 face brush. I apply it to my cheeks as blush and sweep a little across my forehead and tip of my nose. This bronzer also looks very flattering when applied on the décolleté. The texture of this is a little powdery but it never goes on streaky or uneven.
The compact is large and has a nice mirror inside. The compact snaps shut securely and is constructed of an easy to clean brown plastic that doesn't really show fingerprints.
If you are looking for an extremely easy to wear bronzer and you just want a healthy peachy/tan tone this is a great one to try!
I think the full price ($28 for .39 oz of product) on this is a little high- but when it's included in a set- you really can't go wrong. I would actually purchase this alone (with a discount code, of course)- because I like it that much!
